And I don’t give a fuck who reads it (though I love you if you do).

There is too much relevant stuff to the gay rights movement happening right now for me to sit by apathetically and watch!!  That is not me!  For example, the antigay leader who has spent his life legislating against us who just got busted returned from Europe after a 10 day trip with a prostitute!  I HATE HIM!  Also, gay and lesbian binational couples could very soon be given rights in the United States if comprehensive immigration passes that includes us!  That is me!  I am living overseas to be with my love and that affects us!

Anyways, until the job is done we have to keep fighting for only equal rights, because I for one, am not a second class human being.

Oh yeah, and I must say I LOVE it when we find anti gay super preachers snuggling up to prostitutes or anti gay “scholars” traveling the world with crackhead twink hookers.  What can destroy that vicious movement quicker then members who are the true architects of their own demise?  More on that in a moment.

        

Watch Orly Taitz melt down before our very eyes.  Is there really a portion of the American population that believes this?  This is truly laughable.  The right side of our nation continues to get crazier.

        

Round and round and round and round the conversation goes. Fucking repeal this bill already!  The vast majority of Americans do not support it. It is antiquated, and for those affected by it, it can be devastating.   Obama show us some fucking action!

        

It is simple, I love this picture.  Obama was recently spotted admiring some melons at the G8 summit in Italy last week.   Wonder what Michelle is thinking?

        

In an interview with representatives from the Roman Catholic church Obama says:

For the gay and lesbian community in this country, I think it’s clear that they feel victimized in fairly powerful ways and they’re often hurt by not just certain teachings of the Catholic Church, but the Christian faith generally. And as a Christian, I’m constantly wrestling with my faith and my solicitude and regard and concern for gays and lesbians.

So what the fuck does that mean to us?  It would be nice if he could just reconcile that and let us know which way he plans to proceed.

        

Sarah Palin will resign as governor of Alaska.  Check out this rambling speech.

This is really, really weird.  Sarah says she can affect more change “out of government”.  Cryptic much?  Wtf does that mean?  What exactly is all this about?  A person does not just resign in the middle of their term for no reason.  I want the REASON.

Perhaps, she is gearing up full time for a 2012 presidential bid.  However, what the GOP needs now is not a far righter, but a moderate who can win independents.  The days of Evangelical political power are over.  They have made themselves look looney and have been in way too many sex scandals, mostly gay.    Hmmmm.

        

It is so easy to trust this man.  But show us some ACTION. I still want to trust Obama.  And forgive me if I come off bipolar in my posts, but I don’t know exactly what to think.  Will he come through?  Will it be just words?  Does he really care?  It feels like he does, however, he is a politician.  Please, please, please… Come through for us Obama.

I ask though, where is talk about a federal civil union?  Not an “agreement” for federal government employees, but a civil union for ALL Americans who want it?

        

Here are details of President Obama’s recent address to GLBT leaders at the White House “celebrating” the 40th anniversary of Stonewall.  I am left unimpressed by his tone, which appears to have no immediacy to it:

The president appeared mindful of these criticisms when he stepped to the front of the East Room on Monday.

“It’s not for me to tell you to be patient,” he said, comparing the gay activists’ struggle to that of African-Americans in the civil rights movement. “I expect and hope to be judged not by words…but by the promises that my administration keeps.”

He added that by the time his presidency is over, “I think you guys will have pretty good feelings about the Obama administration.”

Mr. Obama said he had asked the secretary of defense and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to develop a plan to repeal the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. He reiterated his pledge to try to reverse the Defense of Marriage Act and said he would work for legislation aimed at preventing workplace discrimination, extending the federal hate-crime law to acts against gays and lesbians, and giving domestic partners of federal workers health and other benefits.

And he said he was committed to repealing rules that prohibit people with HIV from traveling into the U.S.

What?  By the end of his administration?   That could be eight years from now.  And where is he talking about a federal civil union that is equal to marriage.  My partner is not American and we have no rights until we have federal rights.  Further, all over the world(Europe, Australia, South Africa, parts of South America) a federal union is recognized.  This is America, the “land of freedom”.  Why do I feel SO second class and totally void of rights!?  Again, I am not impressed.
