New Hampshire House Approves Marriage Bill

The marriage bill in New Hampshire has passed! After surprisingly passing in the state senate last week, the bill has narrowly passed in the house; 178-167.   Woot Woot.   Governor John Lynch is now in control of the fate of the marriage bill in New Hampshire.  Will he sign it?  I am not sure but here are some facts about Gov Lynch:

  • Serving 3rd term
  • Democrat and business man
  • Believes marriage should be between a man and a woman
  • Once again, a DEMOCRAT!!!!!!!!!
  • Currently wielding great power to the gay community of his state

Gov Lynch, could you please sign the bill?  I just don’t know what will happen with this one.

I am still excited about the gain in DC yesterday and the bizarre performance of Marion Barry totally flipping his wig.

So this would be state six? What is going on? I went from feeling defeated after the success of Prop 8 to being totally energized a few months later!
